JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

MTL Contractors is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team and take on new challenges. We are RBQ licensed general contractors who specialize in interior renovations and have a maintenance contract for 20 properties.

 

A painter carries out small plaster repairs and paint works to residential buildings. We have all the tools and equipment required for the work, so if you can bring the knowledge and good attitude, we have a bright future for you at this company. 

 

This is a full time permanent position. The position includes CNESST health and safety coverage, direct deposit paychecks with source deductions, 11 paid statutory holidays, paid vacation that increases annually, uniform provided, and other benefits.

 

EXAMPLES OF TASKS:

 

-Interior ceiling and wall repairs to residential buildings

-Laying out drop sheets and hanging protective plastic as necessary

-Plaster repairs

-Painting

-Keeping the work site and tools safe and clean at all times

-Loading materials and tools into truck for the work you are doing

-Unloading and cleaning the truck out at the end of the day

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

-Valid driver's license

-Familiarity with tools and equipment

-Willingness to learn
